HeartBeets Customer Reviews
Although a fairly new beet supplement, HeartBeets is already gathering praise from customers.
Many note an improvement in blood pressure rates, report a lower occurrence of headaches, and less shortness of breath.
Other customers report feeling less anxious, a symptom of high blood pressure that some people experience.
There are even HeartBeets customers successfully using the supplement to boost nitric oxide production for post-workout muscle recovery. Several report having increased workout endurance and performance since beginning to use the supplement.
Whilst the reviews we do have access too, are positive, and there are more in europe than the US, we can't score it more than 7/10 without more available for this section. The ingredients section however, is another story, and HeartBeets will be getting nearly full marks on that front.
HeartBeets Ingredients
Beetroot Extract 4:1 (500mg): Beetroot is a formidable source of natural nitrate. The body uses nitrate to make nitric oxide, which is vital for a number of biological functions, including cardiovascular health (vasodilation, blood flow, endothelium function, and prevention of blood clots), neurotransmission, immune function, metabolism regulation, and respiratory function. Beetroot has been linked to lower blood pressure in several studies [1, 2], and improved exercise performance [3, 4] - both benefits derive primarily or completely from the increase in nitric oxide.
Olive Leaf (500mg): Olive leaf is another powerful blood pressure-lowing ingredient, with many studies supporting its efficacy [5, 6]. In addition, olive leaf offers an extra immune system boost, is an effective anti-inflammatory, an antioxidant, and can reduce bad cholesterol.
Folate (2,500mcg): Folate is another name for vitamin B9. Folate supplementation has been shown to significantly reduce the risk of being diagnosed with high blood pressure and is more effective than simply eating folate-rich foods [7]. In addition, folate is thought to improve the bioavailability of nitric oxide [8], which means this supplement works together with beetroot to boost the total amount of nitric oxide in the body.
Garlic Powder 4:1 (150mg): Garlic powder is another powerful blood pressure regulator [9]. It also helps to keep down bad cholesterol levels [10], boost the immune system [11], and improve athletic performance [12].
Q10 (30mg): Coenzyme Q10 (also known as Q10) is an energy generator and an antioxidant. It is thought to be vital in maintaining heart health by ensuring optimum energy levels, preventing oxidative stress, and improving heart function [13]. What’s more, this powerful coenzyme has been linked to improved athletic performance, slowing the effects of aging on the skin, and reducing the impact of diabetes.
Vitamin C (250mg): Vitamin C is another antioxidant and, as such, offers de facto cardiovascular benefits as oxidative stress is linked to cardiovascular disease [14]. Furthermore, vitamin C boosts nitric oxide production aiding vasodilation and blood vessel health [15].
Magnesium (200mg): Magnesium is an essential mineral and an anti-inflammatory. It can significantly lower the risk of cardiovascular disease by regulating blood pressure [16]. It also helps to regulate blood sugar levels, improve exercise performance, and help with mood regulation and sleep.
B6 (1.3mg): B6 is an essential vitamin that the body cannot produce by itself. B6 has significant health benefits for blood vessels and the heart, including preventing blood clots and lowering the risk of heart disease [17]. It is also associated with improved brain function, better mood, and a reduction in depression.
B2 (1.1mg): Important for energy production, B2 is also thought to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, particularly when paired with folate, as it is in HeartBeets [18].
Green Tea Extract (250mg): Green Extract is a powerful antioxidant that offers numerous health benefits. It is known to reduce blood pressure, lower cholesterol, aid with weight loss (which also has cardiovascular benefits as less fat means less pressure on the heart), improve exercise performance and recovery, and improve cognitive function.
Hibiscus: Hibiscus is a plant extract that is high in antioxidants. Hibiscus can improve heart health, promote weight loss, and lower blood pressure [19].
Hawthorn: Another plant extract high in antioxidants, hawthorn can help lower cholesterol, decrease blood pressure, fight inflammation, and improve digestion.
Ginger Extract: Ginger is a potent anti-inflammatory and an antioxidant. It can aid with weight loss, reduce symptoms of joint inflammation, lower blood sugar levels, and reduce the risk of heart disease.
