Pretty Good

Read Breakdown of Best Joint Supplements View full details

Joint Vibrance actually isn't bad, which coming from us is saying a lot. It's still not going to top our list of the best joint supplements any time soon, but it does deliver pretty reasonably on it's claims and considering 90% of the market is terrible, this is quite the achievement. Joint Vibrance offers a clinically tested formula of effective ingredients correctly dosed. This may sound like the bare minimum but taking a look at most other joint supplements would change your mind, this is genuinely something we're very happy to see.

Where it loses some good faith however is in it's ludicrous inclusion of over 10,000mg of collagen. We're going to go into more detail as we deep dive into a full ingredients breakdown, but just know now that this is not really going to be very helpful in terms of managing joint health and everyday aches. There's evidence to suggest marginal overall health benefits but despite collagen being essential for healthy bones there is nothing that indicates this has any effects whatsoever on joints.

It's marketing, that's all there is to it. Joint Vibrance are very aware that their client base will see how much collagen there is and think it'll be the most effective choice, which as clever as it may be is a little disingenuous and has left a bitter taste. If you're looking for something that cuts through the marketing rigmarole then our recommendation does just that: FlexAgain.

FlexAgain has a formula that's dedicated solely to the science at it's core, being so dedicated as to declare that their formula will change once new scientific evidence is available, ensuring it has the most effective known formula possible at any given time. What elevates FlexAgain above the competition are ingredients such a Resveratrol and Ginger extract, all being clinically proven to be effective at alleviating joint stiffness, reducing joint pain and providing overall joint support. It also contains a much more effective dose of Turmeric Curcumin, providing potent anti inflammatory effects

Joint Vibrance Customer Reviews

The reviews available on their website are overwhelmingly positive, with everyone claiming reductions to knee pain, hip pain and lower back pain. This should all be taking with a grain of salt, however, as of course their is a huge incentive for companies to flood their host websites product pages with false positive reviews to drown out any complaints. That said, we do believe the formula here should have some positive effects on joint health, so it's at least believable that some of these reviews would be true.

On Amazon it's certainly a lot less flooded with the false positives, with many people saying it helped them out a lot but offering some feedback as well, with common complaints being that people didn't like the natural orange pineapple flavor or claiming it's a bit pricey.

Other than that we found a few people complaining that the full refund offered by Joint Vibrance wasn't honored, but there was only one of these complaints so you should take this with a grain of salt as well, there's likely more to that story.

Joint Vibrance Ingredients

Cartilage Builders

Collagen 10,600mg

This is one of those ingredients that you see on joint supplements and think "Wow yeah, that really makes sense" and from a glancing look it really does. Collagen is a natural part of the body's joint health as it is rich in essential amino acids that help our joints to build cartilage as well as playing an important part in ligament tissue formation. It's also what our bodies use to rebuild healthy bones, now this all sounds terribly helpful to improve joint health, doesn't it?

Unfortunately all is not as it seems, and the problem lays in how we absorb the collagen; through our stomachs. Once ingested, the collagen is broken down by our body into its more basic component parts and then the proteins are put to use throughout the body. This is why collagen is considered to have some moderate heath benefits in general, but in terms of targeting and dealing with joint pain, there is no clinical data that suggests it will have any benefits whatsoever.

Glucosamine 1,500mg

One of the most popular ingredients in the joint health world, you'll find the vast majority of joint health supplements contain Glucosamine and it's for one simple reason: it's one of the most effective and powerful ingredients for improving joint and bone health available. Similarly to collagen, glucosamine is very important for building cartilage and is naturally found within the body. Where they differ, however, is that it has been clinically proven that supplementing glucosamine is an effective way to alleviate symptoms of osteoarthritis as well as delaying the progress of degradation to joint health. Where you might be caught out here is that the Glucosamine used in Joint Vibrance is Glucosamine hydrochloride, which it is worth mentioning was found to reduce joint pain but not reduce any other symptoms, unlike it's more effective counterpart Glucosamine Sulfate.

The dosing here may seem a little overkill, and studies have found Glucosamine to be effective at reducing pain and improving mobility in joints at as low as 400mg, twice a week, but to be fair to Joint Vibrance the majority of studies are at 1,500mg per day.

Chondroitin Sulfate 1,000mg

Now this is interesting as Chondroitin Sulfate has an important relationship with Glucosamine. There's been some conflicting evidence, but there are studies that suggest chondroitin increased the effectiveness of Glucosamine. The conflict comes in as the largest study (conducted by the National Institutes of Health) dosed with Glucosamine Hydrochloride and didn't see any significant decrease to joint pain, whereas the European studies that dosed with Glucosamine Sulfate did see this increase, so it's inclusion here is likely ineffective, though more research is needed to corroborate these results.

Hyaluronic Acid 120mg

Found in high quantities within the body in the synovial fluid (the thick liquid that works to cushion joints), it has been proven through various clinical testing the supplementing hyaluronic acid has the same or greater ability to reduce joint pain and improve many of the joint problems associated with Osteoarthritis. These studies found results at doses as low as 40mg so the dosing here is effective and overall this inclusion is a very welcome one.

MSM 1,000mg

Methysulfonylmethane is a sulfur chemical that is naturally found within humans and animals alike, and it's looking like it has a lot of potential to reduce joint pain and help manage inflammation, with some research suggesting that it can help maintain worn out joints too. Though it definitely has a lot of promise, the studies conducted were either a small sample size or conducted on animals, and though positive results have been found we'd prefer to see some more substantial studies before this one earns it's place as a mainstay in the joint health supplement world. For now it's a fine inclusion that we're cautiously optimistic about.

Boron 3mg

Since as early as 1963 there has been evidence accumulating that suggests Boron as a safe and effective treatment for some forms of arthritis. There does need to be a bit more research done to understand the mechanisms at play here, but the studies that have been done continue to show promise. The dosing here is about half what we've seen as effective, however, as these studies at supplemented boron starting at 6mg per day, so the 3mg may not be effective. Hopefully more research is done and our optimism isn't left unfounded, but as it stands this is a decent ingredient left under-dosed.

Boswellia Serrata 100mg

Have you ever wanted to know what frankincense is? Well, this is it. Indian Frankincense Boswellia Serrata is here in the form of Apresflex, the most chemically bioavailable collection of the acids contained within the plant. These acids are known anti-inflammatories that block an enzyme that breaks down fatty acids in foods into molecules that attack the joints and other tissues. A 2014 study found that a three month course of 100mg a day of these acids was reducing inflammation, leading to a reduction of joint pain by 20 points. There were also affects observed to improve joint health and function by 8 points (100 point scales) without any serious side effects.

This is a highly welcomed and effective ingredient that has been precisely dosed, and we're very pleased to see it.

Turmeric Curcumin 100mg

Turmeric curcumin is a very common ingredient known for its anti-inflammatory properties, and is a common inclusion in any dietary supplement with a focus on joints. In 2016, a review of randomised controlled trials found that curcumim reduced Osteo-arthritis pain and inflammation as well as nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen. The choice of ingredient here is spot on, but it all kind of falls apart as the studies that found these impressive results were dosing at 500mg curcumin extract that was standardised to 95% curcuminoids, whereas what we have here is on 20%. A bit of a swing and a miss here unfortunately.

Bromelain 100mg

There have been years of studies that attest to the potential of Bromelain being used as a treatment for knee osteoarthritis, with it showing time and time again that it can reduce knee pain caused but the arthritis as well as act as an anti inflammatory, improving mobility in those tested. A phase 2 clinical trial is required to identify optimal dosing, but the studies that showed the effectiveness of Bromelain were typically dosed around 100mg, so with the current knowledge available everything is in order here.

Grape Seed 25mg

This may seem a bit of an odd inclusion and well, it is. All of the studies done that show Grape Seed extract being even remotely effective at providing any sort of joint support have been done on rats, and as much as this is the first step that any ingredient needs to take before being clinically proven to work, it doesn't warrant it's inclusion in joint health supplements marketed towards humans, so let's quickly move on.

Silica 3mg

Now this final ingredient is certainly an interesting one, as it's quite unlikely to really help but there's some evidence to suggest it's at least offers benefits for healthier bones. There needs to be a lot more testing done as it's mechanics aren't entirely understood, with us writing it off as having to effect on biology and simply washing through our bodies. Definitely one to watch, and joint vibrance are taking a risk including it with so little evidence supporting it. It may work out in their favour, or may end up as another pointless inclusion. Time will be the judge here.

Joint Vibrance Review Conclusion

So there we have it folks, an effective formula is here for sure, and we certainly see how Joint vibrance helps manage inflammation and pain in relation to joints. That being said there's frankly just better out there, and better yet there's our recommendation FlexAgain which gives you a scientifically comprehensive formula without all of the marketing mumbo jumbo that has bloated Joint Vibrance in both it's ingredients and it's pricing. If you removed the collagen and reduced the glucosamine and chondroitin down to more realistic dosages you could reduce the price and sell this as the most effective budget option which would gain Joint Vibrance much more favour. As it stands, however, it's price bracket has increased it's competition and they've just left Vibrant health in the dust in regards to not only the formula they offer, but the business practices being much more upfront and transparent.

It's for these reasons and many more that we fully endorse and recommend FlexAgain as our joint supplement of choice, and we believe whole heartedly that FlexAgain will improve joint health and flexibility factors for anyone struggling with stiff, painful joints.
