Nugenix Estro Regulator Ingredients
Vitamin E (From D-Alpha Tocopherol Succinate) - 6.7 MG
Vitamin e consists of eight fat soluble compounds which work in unison to form a powerful antioxidant. It is widely known for reducing inflammation, preventing brittle bones, and boosting the immune system, particularly in the elderly.
It is also linked to benefits such as boosting heart, liver, skin, and metabolic health, and preventing cognitive decline and various diseases. There are also studies that show it can both diminish the impact estrogen has on the body while simultaneously being a test booster (1).
Unfortunately, doses of around 15 mg of are needed to be of use, while older adult males may need between 50 and 200 mg of d-alpha tocopherol succinate to see it have an effect as a free testosterone booster. This means there just isn't enough in Nugenix Estro Regulator to be of use.
Chrysin - 500 MG
Chrysin is a flavonoid found in bee pollen and propolis that can improve the health of the colon and intestines.
It is also starting to be put in testosterone booster supplements as it is proven to stimulate the testicles and make them produce more testosterone, while stopping the process that converts testosterone into estrogen.
The problem is, these effects on your hormonal balance are only produced when chrysin is injected directly into the testicles. To date, studies using up to 3,000 mg of chrysin orally each day have proven to be ineffective for improving your testosterone estrogen balance (2).
This means the 500 mg present in Nugenix Estro Regulator is guaranteed to be of no use at all.
Polygonum Cuspidatum Extract (Root)(50% Trans-Resveratrol) - 300 MG
Polygonum cuspidatum is the clinical term for the plant better known as Japanese knotweed. It has widely been used in Chinese and Japanese traditional medicine for centuries, due to being linked to numerous health benefits.
These benefits include burning fat, regulating blood pressure and cholesterol levels, improving glucose and insulin sensitivity to aid with diabetes, and boosting heart health. While not a testosterone booster itself, it is said to be an aromatase inhibitor.
An aromatase inhibitor will reduce androgen precursors and stop the process that converts testosterone into estrogen, keeping your testosterone levels high (3). There are two issues with its inclusion in Nugenix Estro Regulator though.
First, its claimed benefits have never been proven in mammals. Then, even the studies that support its use list the optimal dose as 500 mg per day, which is more than 3 times the amount present here. This means it is highly unlikely to actually offer any benefits at all.
Diindolylmethane (DIM) - 100 MG
Diindolylmethane (dim) is a compound made of indole and methane molecules that is found naturally in some foods, such as broccoli, cauliflower, and kale. A DIM dietary supplement helps with estrogen regulation, while also being an antioxidant and preventing some illnesses.
Evidence that demonstrates dim's anti estrogen activity shows it is a powerful anti aromatase modulator.
Through its interaction with estrogen binding sites, it can help to limit the impact estrogen has on testosterone and maintain your estrogen balance, a critical factor for anyone trying to booth their health, sexual functions, or physical performance (4).
Studies show that reduced urine estrogen content demonstrates dim's anti estrogen activity when consumed in daily doses of at least 100 mg per day, but as high as 900mg a day to be effective. This means it is the only one of the ingredients found in Nugenix Estro Regulator that is both effective and used in the right dose and even that is at the bottom end.
