Roman Testosterone Support Gets A Couple Of Things Right, But Isn't Worth The Price.

We know that our testosterone levels lower as we age, and lower levels can result in a decline in energy, stamina, muscle strength and libido. Men can also see increasing hair loss and weight gain, seriously affecting their self-confidence.

While we cannot avoid getting older, we can do something to help counteract this decline in our natural testosterone levels. We can do this by eating a healthy diet, keeping up an effective exercise routine, and taking testosterone support supplements to help boost our energy and strength.

More men are hitting the gym today in their 40s and 50s, wanting to help improve their health and slow the signs of ageing than ever before in history. It makes sense to seek out a high-quality natural testosterone boosting supplement to help you reach your goals.

The question is, does Roman Testosterone Support Work? And the answer is that it should have some benefit for most men looking to boost their testosterone levels, but it is basically a vitamin pill with some added Ashwagadha and not what we'd rank as one of the better test boosters on the market today. The dosing is good, they get that right with 600mg, being the optimal amount [1], and it covers the common vitamin deficiencies which can lower test, but so do most of the other test boosters at it's price point and they contain a lot more ingredients as well. The selling point in Roman Testosterone Supports favor is it's hefty dose of Maca, which whilst it does work as a libido booster (it's by far the most well backed natural ingredient for this [2]), it does nothing to raise testosterone. And seeing as Roman Testosterone Support touts itself as just that, a T booster, we can't give it top marks. And even if we're looking at it as a hybrid test supplement and libido supplement, there are better options at the same price range.

What Is Roman Testosterone Support?

One of the many issues men in their 40s and 50s experience that they don't like to talk about is erectile dysfunction (ED). This is often experienced when you see a drop in your natural testosterone production as you age. Which is really where the focus is in terms of Roman Testosterone ingredients, as we've mentioned with the 3000mg of Maca, which is actually far more than is necessary for it's effects. [2]

This makes sense though seeing as Roman is a company that was founded to help alter the way men with issues such as ED, premature ejaculation originally and have then moved on to hair loss, muscle strength, weight gain, and more.

The company has a good reputation for customer service and delivering good quality products, which is another plus in their favor. This makes sense seeing as they were formed by a group of medical doctors backed by entrepreneurs with interest in the subject of testosterone support for men. They aimed to create a safe space for men to access the help and advice they need in confidence. A nice mission statement and a trusted brand, which is nice, even if the products could be better, you do know you're getting something reputable.

Pros

  • Trusted Brand
  • Not Very Expensive
  • Discreet Delivery

Cons

  • There's Much Better Alternatives
  • Missing Key Testosterone Boosting Ingredients
  • Not Vegan
Does Roman Testosterone Support Work? And How Does It Work?

It is quite likely to, just covering off the vitamin deficiencies is a good place to start and almost half of American's have a vitamin D deficiency[3], before we even get onto the zinc (even a small deficiency can severely drop testosterone levels). [4]

Roman Testosterones Extra Service

One thing we do like about Roman however is that they have a wholistic approach, having customers fill out surveys and connecting them to doctors enables Roman to offer more pharmacological solutions when needed. This is a new approach that takes excellent advantage of modern technology. You join up on the Roman website, and it operates along the same lines as an online pharmacy.

After completing your background information, you will be connected with a medical doctor where you can speak in confidence about your issues relating to low testosterone, sexual health, ageing in general and any health conditions you have developed that you are concerned about.

Your doctor will then help determine the proper medical approach to take to help boost your testosterone levels and resolve your health concerns. You will be given a medical prescription that you can fulfil on the Roman online pharmacy and have posted to you in discreet packaging. So this is a good extra service offered by Roman, but that still doesn't change the fact that the Roman Testosterone Booster is sup par.

Customer Reviews Of Roman Testosterone Support

For the most part the verified reviews of roman testosterone support are pretty good. With them averaging over 4* on Amazon even after we accounted for fake reviews, and yes it seems like they've paid for a few, but this is par for the course with Amazon these days.

The negative roman testosterone support reviews seemed to complain of side effects that aren't too uncommon with Ashwagandha, such as nausea which is to be expected.

The main Roman Testosterone complaints other than that were that the product didn't work, although this was a relatively minimal number, which is again common place with testosterone boosters that include Ashwagandha and the core testosterone supporting vitamins and minerals that Roman does.

Roman Testosterone Ingredients

According to the Roman website, they combine six carefully sourced, vetted, and medically researched active ingredients that absorb into the body within hours.

Their proprietary formula for the Roman supplement is manufactured in Long Island, NY, and is made in a cGMP certified facility. Their base formula contains:

Ashwagandha: This is used in Ayurvedic medicine to boost general health, increase energy levels, and is considered an aphrodisiac that improves sexual desire, pleasure, and sexual performance. In terms of studies it's been shown to reduce cortisol (the stress hormone), improve sleep quality and raise testosterone levels. The ideal dosing for the later seems to be 600mg, [1] although the lowering cortisol and improving sleep are a bit lower. And it should be noted that reducing stress hormone and improving sleep, will also lead to increased testosterone. Seeing as Roman includes 600mg this is a good inclusion.

Copper: An essential trace mineral found throughout the body. Your body needs in small amounts to function properly. Copper has a vital role in several functions, including prevention of prostatitis, or inflammation of the prostate, regulation of heart rate and blood pressure, and maintenance of your bones, connective tissues and organs such as the heart and brain. It's not the most important miineral for t levels and it's a relatively rare deficiency, but it doesn't do any harm, it just doesn't really need to be here.

Maca: Maca is also known as Peruvian ginseng. It has been used as a food and medicine for thousands of years in Peru. It is a well known natural remedy for sexual health issues, including infertility and low sex drive. Most studies show it to be effective for both men and women in terms of improving desire, and Roman doses this more than hightly enough to be in the effective range. [2]

Magnesium: An essential mineral that plays a crucial role in many functions at a cellular level, including building and maintaining bone strength and effective muscle function. It is also essential in hormone production and supplementing has been shown to improve sleep quality which in turn aids hormone production, we generally expect to see magnesium in most good testosterone supplements. [6]

Vitamin D3: A fat-soluble vitamin that many men are deficient in, especially if they work indoors and get little natural sunlight. Vitamin D3 plays a role in bone health and natural immunity to disease. Deficiency can lower hormone levels and almost half of all adult men in the US are deficient, so this is a good inclusion. It has also been shown to boost athletic performance when supplemented, making it a good inclusion for muscle gain. [6]

Zinc: is a valuable trace mineral that plays a vital role in muscle development in the body. Zinc is also an effective immune booster, and many men are deficient in the mineral and even a small sub clinical deficiency has been shown to tank testosterone levels, making this a good inclusion for roman. That said 15mg is more than enough and studies have shown that adding more than that doesn't have any advantage, so the 30mg in Roman Testosterone isn't necessary. [4]

Roman Testosterone Support Concerns

They have a clause stating that you cannot return any products you receive from Roman for a refund as all sales are final.

While Roman is proving to be a valuable service that many men are taking advantage of as they tackle the health issues of entering middle age, their services shouldn't be considered a replacement for the one-to-one care that your own GP can provide you with.

You may be able to find a comparable testosterone support supplement more easily accessed that will be suitable for your needs. Roman's six core ingredients in their support supplement are included in other similar products on the market.

It seems that their test booster product is largely trying to trade off their good name earned by their other mens sexual health products.

Roman Testosterone Review Conclusion

Roman Test Support is fine. It's not bad, but it's not good either. There's way better alternatives, it misses key ingredients, and they're likely just trading on their overal good name when it comes to mens sexual health. It does score highly in the libido category, but that's about it. In short it's not a bad product, but it's not brilliant either..

We wouldn't recommend purchasing Roman Testosterone Support and we'd recommend that you use something better designed to suit your needs.

If however you want to use Roman for a more full service male sexual health package and use their doctors then they're pretty good in that case.
