Zipslim Ingredients
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) - 500 MG
Vitamin c is well known for its ability to boost human immunity, health, and metabolism. However, it can also improve the production of collagen and neurotransmitters, aid muscle growth and recovery, boost joint flexibility, mobility and health, and enhance muscle, bone and tooth strength (1).
The problem is, not only does research suggest that unless you are suffering from a vitamin c deficiency you should get enough from your diet, but it also shows that supplements that do contain it must use at least 2,000 mg to be of any use. This means the 500 mg in each Zipslim serving will do you no good.
Vitamin D (As D3, Cholecalciferol) - 25 MCG
Taking vitamin d3 will stop you from developing a vitamin d deficiency. This will ensure you don't gain weight or body fat, and that you enjoy optimal testosterone production, protein synthesis, and energy levels, and a healthy metabolic rate, all of which is vital for stimulating weight loss.
However, to provide these benefits, a supplement must contain at least 45 mcg of vitamin d per day. With this being almost double the amount found in each serving of Zipslim, it simply is not capable of delivering any results here (2).
Vitamin B (Methylcobalamin) - 12 MCG
Zipslim simply lists "vitamin b" on its ingredients, which is very unusual, but we can see that they actually specifically mean vitamin b12, rather than a range of other vitamins, as methylcobalamin is its technical name.
Vitamin b12 is an essential vitamin that supports the health and functions of the human nervous system and brain, aids the production of DNA, bone marrow, nerves, red blood cells, and testosterone, boosts metabolism, and prevents brain fog, depression, mental decline, mood swings, and other mental health conditions.
The issue is, you will only see any of these benefits if you consume at least 1,000 mcg of vitamin b12 a day (3). As Zipslim contains only a fraction of this at 12 mcg per serving, it simply is not strong enough to be of any use.
Magnesium (As Magnesium Citrate) - 105 MG
The mineral magnesium plays an essential role in over 600 different reactions in the cells in the human body. Research shows it can promote physical and mental calmness and relaxation, make it easier to fall asleep, soothe the muscles, and prevent dehydration, cramps, sleep issues, and poor sleep quality.
This would make it easier for adults experiencing stress to enjoy better energy levels and body weight loss and not gain weight. Unfortunately, you need to consume 225 mg of magnesium each day in order for it to be effective (4). This means the 105 mg in each Zipslim serving is all but assured to be of no use.
Chromax Chromium (As Chromium Picolinate) - 300 MCG
Chromium picolinate is made of the amino acid derivative of the mineral chromium and picolinic acid, a metabolite of tryptophan. When used together they are more effective than either is on its own.
The compound can boost your metabolism, energy production, and serotonin levels, regulate insulin sensitivity, control your appetite and blood sugar levels, prevent fat storage, support muscle growth and maintenance, and promote better brain functions, sleep quality, and weight loss.
The problem is, to see any of these effects you need to consume at least 1,000 mcg of chromium picolinate per day (5). As this is more than three times the 300 mcg in each serving of Zipslim, it is guaranteed to be of no use.
Potassium (As Potassium Citrate) - 200 MG
The essential mineral potassium can help to maintain optimal fluid levels in the cells throughout our body, while also improving nerve signals, muscular contractions, your heart rate and blood pressure, joint health, nutrient utilisation, and the removal of waste, while also reducing inflammation (6).
However, research shows that a minimum of 600 mg of potassium is required each day to be of use. As a Zipslim serving contains just a third of this at 200 mg, it is simply far too weak to produce any results.
Metabolic Activation Complex - 530 MG
KSM 66 Organic Ashwagandha Root Extract (Withania Somnifera)
KSM 66 ashwagandha root extract is a patented extract of the evergreen winter cherry plant. It is said to aid fat loss, prevent fat storage, boost testosterone levels, muscle size and strength, heart and brain health, and your memory, focus, and sleep quality, and reduce stress, anxiety, and blood sugar levels.
The issue, studies show that to produce optimal results, you must consume two 300 mg doses of ashwagandha each day. While the use of a proprietary blend means it is not possible for us to know exactly how much is present, it appears highly unlikely that Zipslim contains enough to be of use (7).
GreenSelect Phytosome Green Tea Extract (Leaf)(Camellia Sinesis) With Sunflower Lecithin
Green tea extract contains caffeine and the potent antioxidant catechin EGCG. It can boost your energy levels and metabolism, aid fat and weight loss, lower cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar levels, enhance brain and heart health and functions, and treat stress, anxiety, and other health issues (8).
Sunflower lecithin improves the stability and texture of a supplement, while also preventing fatigue and high cholesterol and boosting heart, skin, and brain health and functions and energy levels (9).
Unfortunately, studies show you must consume at least 500 mg of green tea extract and 1200 mg of sunflower lecithin per day for them to be of use. As Zipslim cannot contain this dosage of either key ingredient, the presence of GreenSelect Phytosome is assured to be of no use at all.
Quercetin
Quercetin is a bioflavonoid found in some fruits and vegetables that studies show has anti inflammatory, anti oxidant, and anti artherogenic effects on the human body.
The issue is, clinical trials have shown it has low bioavailability and is not quickly absorbed by the human body without the presence of a powerful bioavailability enhancer like black pepper extract. Even then, high doses of at least 1,136 mg per day must be ingested to achieve them (10).
As Zipslim cannot contain this amount, the presence of quercetin is totally pointless.
Milk Thistle Extract (Silybum Marianum)
Milk thistle extract comes from silybum marianum seeds and medical studies have shown it can prevent liver toxicity and combat issues like diabetes and high blood pressure.
While this could technically lead to modest weight loss, provided you properly diet and exercise, as it can prevent weight gain, clinical trials suggest at least 200 mg is required each day to do so. As Zipslim can't possibly contain this amount, it means it is yet another wasted ingredient (11).
Turmeric Root Extract (Curcuma Longa, 95% Curcuminoids)
Turmeric root extract contains curcumin, which is a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. It can neutralise free radicals in our body, preventing inflammation and oxidative stress and damage. Some clinical studies also say it can support weight loss if combined with a healthy diet and exercise plan (12).
However, 1,500 mg of curcumin must be consumed each day to produce these benefits, which is far more than Zipslim can contain, while more research is needed to prove it actually supports weight loss. This means its inclusion in Zipslim is completely pointless.
Alpha Lipoic Acid
Alpha lipoic acid is an organic component similar to a fatty acid that is rich in antioxidants and found in cells throughout the human body, as well as a variety of food sources.
It can help convert glucose into energy, prevent free radicals from causing inflammation or oxidative damage, improve your workout performance, and prevent weight gain.
The problem is, at least 300 mg is required each day to be of any use. As Zipslim cannot even contain a third of this amount, its inclusion in the formula is worthless (13).
Ginger Extract (Rhizome)
Ginger extract is a widely used supplement as it boasts powerful antioxidant and inti-inflammatory properties. It can prevent oxidative damage, reduce cholesterol, support the digestive and immune systems, aid weight loss, and make all the other ingredients easier to absorb and more effective (14).
Unfortunately, as at least 1000 mg of ginger is required daily for it to do any of this, the miniscule amount that Zipslim can contain will not do you any good at all.
Rhodiola Rosea Root Extract
Rhodiola rosea root extract comes from an Arctic flowering plant and has been claimed to treat anxiety, depression, fatigue, and stress, boost cognitive functions, focus, metabolism, and exercise performance, and regulate blood sugar levels.
Unfortunately, most of these claims have not been proven in clinical studies and even the few that have require at least 288 mg of rhodiola rosea root extract to be taken each day to produce them, which is more than can be present here (15). This means its inclusion in Zipslim is pointless.
Green Tea Leaf Extract With 100 MG Natural Caffeine - 200 MG (Zipslim Charged Version Only)
Caffeine is one of the most popular and powerful stimulants on Earth, as it can improve your energy levels, cognitive performance, metabolism, exercise performance, rate of fat burning, and weight loss, while reducing fatigue.
The issue is, for these effects to occur, you must consume at least 200 mg of caffeine per day (16). As Zipslim contains just half this amount, the presence of caffeine in the supplement is of no use.
